NEXT EXPO is built for school visits. Five editions in Dubrovnik taught us what a good day for a class looks like: a clear schedule, volunteers guiding the groups and a programme where students actually take part instead of just walking past.

What is NEXT EXPO 27?
NEXT EXPO is the biggest regional event for young people, held in Zagreb for the first time on 18 and 19 February 2027 at the Mozaik Event Centre. It brings universities, employers, EU programmes and STEM organisations together in one place, and it is made for final-year and secondary school students deciding what comes after school.
How is it different from a classic university fair?
A classic university fair shows you a list of study programmes you can enrol in. NEXT EXPO goes a step further and shows you what you can become, because alongside universities we bring employers who are hiring right now, EU programmes for going abroad and a STEM zone you can try with your own hands. If university is not your plan, there is still plenty here for you.
When and where does it take place?
NEXT EXPO 27 takes place on 18 and 19 February 2027 at the Mozaik Event Centre in Zagreb. The date is deliberately set in the last teaching week before the winter holidays so schools can organise class visits during school hours.
How can a school bring a class?
Register through the form on this page and we will get back to you with the details. We plan the trip together with you from the school door to the venue, and invitations to schools in Zagreb and the surrounding counties go out by the end of August, in time for the annual plan. Students can also send a request themselves through the Take us to NEXT form, and we will contact their teachers.
Who exhibits?
Universities and colleges from Croatia and abroad, employers looking for young workers, institutions and EU programmes such as Erasmus+, and STEM organisations with robots and technology to try out. The venue is divided into six zones: UNI, Panel, EU, Business, STEM and Sponsor.
Who organises NEXT EXPO?
The organiser is Centar za karijere mladih Dubrovnik (Youth Career Centre Dubrovnik), an association with five editions of Dubrovnik EXPO behind it. The last edition alone gathered more than 4,000 young people, 62 schools from three countries and 48 exhibitors. NEXT EXPO is the continuation of that event, in Zagreb for the first time.
How much does entry cost?
Entry to NEXT EXPO is free for every visitor, both for organised school groups and for individual visits. Classes only need to announce themselves through the form so we can plan the arrival schedule.
How do I become an exhibitor or sponsor?
Fill in the form on this page and we will get back to you with available zones, terms and prices. Exhibitors choose a zone according to their field, and sponsorship packages are tailored, from main partner to partner of a single zone.
